Support for Parents & Families

The Community of First Presbyterian Church members and Learning Centers staff and teachers are committed to supporting parents and families!  Parenting and raising children is a difficult and important job.  With support, an experienced team of knowledgeable teachers, and a Church community that supports families (with things like free childcare during worship service, reserved parking for family with strollers, children’s ministries and sunday school), as a parent at the Learning Centers you will have many resources available to you to meet your family’s needs!

Loving and Nurturing your Children with our Christian Heart

Our early childhood education programs are designed for children ages 1 through 5 with after school and enrichment programs for children up to 12 years of age. Families can entrust their children in our care at 1 year of age and stay with our program until their children turn 12. We provide seamless quality care in a safe, stable, secure and committed Christian learning environment that nurtures the whole child and offers a home away from home with loving care for children.

Activities for the Whole Family

We celebrate our friendship and community several times a year with special events that are fun for kids and adults too! Our “Pumpkin Patch” near the Hollywood Arts Park is the perfect place for our Fall Festival with two thousand pumpkins, a horse drawn wagon ride, a petting zoo, face painting, and other activities.  We’ve become one of the best Fall Festivals in all of Hollywood!  We celebrate St. Nick’s Day and Christmas with a multicultural Christmas Village with vendors and great food! Spring time is highlighted with an Easter Brunch and a large scale Easter Egg Hunt with over 1000 treat filled eggs to collect. The events are open to the public and always a great opportunity to make new friends, enjoy good food and relax, while the children play safely in the completely park like fenced-in Pumpkin Patch.  Check out our Upcoming Events page, and we hope to see you soon!  Ask for the Pastor, his wife, or one of the Learning Centers directors and introduce yourself!
